Multi Microgrid Framework for Resilience Enhancement Considering Mobile Energy Storage Systems and Parking Lots

This paper proposes a practical and effective planning approach that takes advantage of the mobility flexibility mobile energy storage systems (MESSs) to increase distribution system resilience against complete area blackouts. MESSs will be very useful for boosting system’s in places affected by disasters when transmission lines are damaged. A joint post-disaster restoration strategy PEV-PLs is proposed, along with distributed generation network reconfigurations, reduce total costs, which include customer interruption MESS operation transportation costs. The integrated accounts uncertainty production wind- solar-powered microgrids (MGs) different forms load demand. Therefore, this assesses effect on (DS) respect MG cost reduction flexibility. Due multiple networks, PEV-PLs, DGs, limitations, suggested problem stated as mixed-integer linear programming problem. framework complemented using benchmark testing (i.e., 33-bus DS). To assess effectiveness proposed model, model’s output contrasted results from typical traditional model. comparison data shows addition MESSs, effectively achieves large decrease enhances DS level.
